Detroit Man Charged In Non-Fatal Shooting Of Two-Year-Old Girl
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Martez Dion Mason, 28 (DOB: 4/16/88), of Detroit, in connection with the July 5, 2016 non-fatal shooting of a two-year-old girl in the 12000 block of Harper in Detroit.
The defendant was arraigned this afternoon before Magistrate Charles Anderson in 36th District Court on the following charges: seven counts of Assault with Intent to Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Firearm. The probable cause conference is scheduled for July 15, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.; the preliminary examination is scheduled for July 21, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Both hearings are before Judge Deborah Langston. The defendant received a $750,000 cash/surety bond.
