Marcus Omar Glenn - Defendant convicted of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol Causing Death in connection with a fatal car crash on West Jefferson and Griswold. His Thursday, August 18, 2016 sentence has been adjourned at the request of the defense and the new sentence date is on September 26, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.

Tanner Coolsaet and Michael Roth - The Grosse Ile Animal Torture defendants were bound over as charged today and bond was continued. The arraignment in circuit court will be held on August 29, 2016.

Mohammad Kamruzzaman - Defendant charged in a non-fatal car crash that injured a nine-yearold boy in Detroit. Today the defendant pled no-contest to the misdemeanor offense of Moving Violation Causing Serious Injury. He was sentenced today to two years probation before Judge Bruce Morrow. The defendant must relinquish his chauffeur license during the pendency of probation.

Demar Canada - Defendant charged in connection with the May 24, 2015 death of his four-yearold daughter on Darin Street in Taylor. Today he was sentenced to six years to 15 years in prison on the charge of Involuntary Manslaughter.

Charles James Cahill, Jr. - Cahill's preliminary examination has been rescheduled to August 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. before 34th District Court Judge Brian Oakley. Cahill is charged in connection with the car crash in Sumpter Township that killed12-year-old Victoria Mack.

Detroit Man Charged in the Non-Fatal Shooting of Seven-Year-Old Boy on Fairfield Street

Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Torrey Craft, 24 (DOB: 12/3/91) in connection with the nonfatal shooting of a seven-year-old boy on Fairfield Street in Detroit. On August 15, 2016, Craft had an argument with male relatives of the mother of his four-year-old daughter when they refused to let him into their home located in the Fairfield Manor housing complex. On August 16, 2016 at 10:00 p.m., Craft was in the 3600 block of Fairfield, in the courtyard area of the housing complex, when he observed the same male relatives. It is alleged that Craft fired a handgun in the direction of the males and hit a seven-year-old boy. The boy was injured in the groin area and transported to a local hospital where he is currently being treated.

Craft has been charged with three counts of Assault with Intent to Murder and Carrying a Weapon with Unlawful Intent and Felony Firearm. He is expected to be arraigned on Saturday, August 20, 2016 after 11:00 a.m., in 34th District Court in Romulus.
