LeadSafe Wayne County

LeadSafe Wayne County is a lead hazard control program that is grant-funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This program will assist Wayne County homeowners or tenants (with exception to the City of Detroit) make their homes "lead safe" by reducing the lead hazards found in and around the home. The program is focused on the prevention of lead poisoning in children under six years of age and pregnant women. If your home was built before 1978, contact our office to find out if your family is eligible for this Lead remediation program.
