Wayne County Parks is looking for energetic high school students to help create great ideas for programs and recreational activities for our parks system. As part of the Council, youth will advise on programs for Wayne County's 37 parks, two golf courses, marina and the Wayne County Aquatic Center.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a resident of Wayne County
  • Must be in High School
  • Must be able to attend monthly Council meetings at Nankin Mills Interpretive Center in Westland and participate in scheduled activities
  • Must be able to commit to a one year term, starting in February, 2017
