Wayne County Commissioner Raymond Basham (D-Taylor) is holding a Conversation on Downriver's Religious Diversity on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Brownstown Event Center, 23451 King Road in Brownstown Township. The forum will begin at 6 p.m.
The event will feature a panel discussion with area religious leaders on the diversity of faith within the Downriver area as well an exploration of what your faith means to you.
"Faith is so important to so many people and, while we may be of different faiths, mutual understanding and respect is important to keeping our communities thriving, especially in times like these," Basham said.
