Amazon job application assistancethroughout Wayne County next week


Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans is partnering with the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA Michigan Works!) and the Talent Investment Agency (TIA) to help connect job seekers with employment opportunities at Amazon's Romulus Fulfillment Center which is expected to open soon. The application sessions will be held next week from Monday through Thursday.

SEMCA Michigan Works! is TIA's workforce recruitment liaison for all Amazon recruitment in Southeast Michigan, where Amazon is home to four facilities, three of which are located in Wayne County (Livonia, Brownstown and Romulus).

The collaborative effort is aimed at meeting the need of hiring more than 1,500 full-time employees for the Amazon facility. The application sessions will be held at the following locations:
