Side Lot Fair gives Highland Park residents a chance to purchase public land
Thank you to all the residents who came out last Saturday to participate in the Wayne County Land Bank's Highland Park Side Lot Fair at Nandi's Knowledge Cafe. Approximately 150 attended and close to 75 applications were processed. The purpose of the fair was to provide Highland Park residents the opportunity to identify and purchase eligible public lots near their homes. I believe strongly in giving residents the opportunity to take an ownership stake in their communities whenever possible.
