Charges Issued In Kajavia Globe Homicide
Today Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Maxwell Brack, 24 (DOB: 6/28/91), of Detroit, with Open Murder, which carries a maximum penalty of life in prison without parole. On December 11, 2015, Kajavia Globe, 24, of Detroit, was reported missing by her family. On December 14, 2015, the Detroit Police Department discovered the victim's lifeless body in a trash container in the rear of a location in the 18500 block of Fielding Street in Detroit. Investigation by the Detroit Police Department identified Brack as the alleged murderer of Ms. Globe. Brack was arrested in connection with the homicide on Friday, February 5, 2016.
Brack was arraigned today and remanded to jail. His probable cause conference is in February 12, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. and his preliminary examination is on February 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
