Godboldo is alleged to have opened fire on the police when they came to her home to remove her daughter in March 2011. The Michigan Court of Appeals reversed the dismissal of the case on May 29, 2013. The case was remanded to the district court to make a ruling; today Judge Ronald Giles dismissed the case. Ms. Godboldo is represented by attorney Byron Pitts. "

We appealed Judge Giles's ruling dismissing the case before and prevailed, as a result and the case was remanded for the judge to rule today. We disagree with the judge once again dismissing the case and we will be appealing the ruling to the Wayne County Circuit Court," said Maria Miller.
