Myah Batts - Defendant charged in fatal car crash that killed a Fed Ex driver in Detroit. Today the probable cause conference was held. Our preliminary examination is scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11:00 am with Judge Deborah Lewis Langston. Over an objection from the People, the defendant’s bond was lowered from $500,000 cash to $100,000 10% with the following conditions: no driving; alcohol tether; and house arrest.

Julie Ann Moore – Today the Grosse Pointe Woods former court administrator pleaded guilty to one count of Embezzlement by Agent, Trustee, or Employee over $20,000. She will be sentenced to 30 days in jail, however she can be released upon payment of $22,566 in restitution and court costs. She will be sentenced on March 30, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. At the time of sentencing, one count of Larceny by a Public Official and one count Larceny in a Building will be dismissed.
