Charlie Bothuell, IV -Today there was a special pre-trial conference and set a date for motion hearings on Friday, January 8, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Margaret Van Houten. The trial date is scheduled for February 17, 2016.

Jebrie Cross and Mariah Thomas - Defendants charged in December 13, 2015 fatal arson fire on Hoyt Street that killed two people and injured a surviving victim. The preliminary examination was held in part on Tuesday, January 6, 2016 before 36th District Court Judge Ronald Giles. It is scheduled to resume in the morning on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.

Mariah Thomas and Jebrie Cross - Charged in the December 13, 2015 fatal arson fire on Hoyt Street. Today the defendants were bound over as charged on two counts of Felony Murder, First Degree Arson and Assault with Intent to Murder. The arraignment on the information is scheduled for January 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
Geneke Lyons - Defendant charged in the fatal dog mauling of four-year-old boy on Baylis Street in Detroit. Today he was bound over as charged on one count of Second Degree Murder, Involuntary Manslaughter and one count of Possessing Dangerous Animals Causing Death before Judge Lydia Nance-Adams. The arraignment on the information is scheduled for January 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
