Brenda Lawrence Senior Winter Resource Fair
On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence hosted a resource fair for seniors at the Butzel Family Center in Detroit. The event had 22 vendors, and between 40 and 50 seniors come out to attend the event. During the event, WCTO staff assisted residents with information on their property taxes and informed residents about payment plans and the new Financial Empowerment Center.
