On Saturday April 13, 2019, The Wayne County Treasurer's Office participated in the Community Wealth Building Day event hosted by the Greater Detroit Realtist Association at WCCCD Downtown Campus.

During the event, Treasurer Sabree spoke about payment plans and programs that the Wayne County Treasurer's Office provides to help people struggling with their property taxes. He also spoke about the Tax Foreclosure Auction, how the auction works, and where the money from the auction goes. He stated that the main goal of the Wayne County Treasurer's Office is to keep people in their property.
