McLouth Steel site now belongs to the Morouns (News-Herald)
Known for decades as one of Downriver's largest eyesores, a new breath of life was felt Thursday afternoon on the land that once housed the hulking McLouth Steel plant in Trenton.
Local elected officials and community leaders gathered at the property for a ceremonial transfer of the deed.
The week prior, three agencies approved a legal agreement involving the purchase of a portion of the property after months of work.
