The Wayne County Treasurer's Office (WCTO) held Show Cause Hearings on January 8 - 10 and January 14 - 16 on the 8^th floor of 400 Monroe St. These hearings provided residents the opportunity to show cause why absolute title to their property should not vest in the county treasurer.

These hearings also served as Resource Fairs designed to assist taxpayers in finding solutions to the various problems they may be facing. We are thankful to the many community and government agencies that joined the WCTO to provide assistance to taxpayers with the purpose of reducing overall foreclosures. There were multiple resources available for those seeking financial assistance as well.
