October 19, 2019 - Treasurer Sabree spoke at Terry Duerod Day at Soul Harvest Ministries church in Highland Park. During his presentation, Treasurer Sabree honored Terry Duerod's Professional basketball career, and shared how he was an inspiration to him and to the community. Terry Duerod is a retired professional basketball player from Highland Park who played for the Detroit Pistons, the Dallas Mavericks, the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors. He later worked as a firefighter for the city of Detroit.
