The Wayne County Treasurer's Office will accept both walk-in and appointments on April 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8, from 8am-4:30pm. Notice of Intent Forms must be submitted in person. To submit your Notice of Intent Form, you must visit and submit it to our office on April 8, 2025.

DETROIT, MI - In response to the unanticipated evacuation of the Treasurer's office on March 31, 2025, and to provide the best possible service to Wayne County taxpayers and property owners, Wayne County Treasurer Eric R. Sabree has extended the deadline for Foreclosure Claims Notices of Intent and Foreclosure Prevention to April 8, 2025. Taxpayers needing assistance on April 2, 3, 4, 7 or 8 can make an appointment online at treasurer.waynecounty.com or walk in from 8:00 am to 4:30pm

"The deadline for foreclosure prevention and to submit a Notice of Intent form has been extended to April 8. We will be accepting walk-ins every business day from April 2 through April 8. To submit a Notice of Intent Claims Form, you must drop it off to the Wayne County Treasurer's Office on April 8, 2025." Said Wayne County Treasurer Eric R. Sabree "If you were unable to make your appointment on March 31, 2025, don't panic-the deadlines have been extended. We appreciate your patience and cooperation."
