Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans Annual County-wide Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway took place last Saturday. Wayne County Treasurer's Office (WCTO) staff was present to hand out turkeys.

Treasurer Sabree would also like to thank everyone for their donations and participation in the Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans High Five Turkey Drive. In total $10,437 was raised. The WCTO team came in 3rd place, raising $1,683 dollars. On Saturday, November 17th, 50+ volunteers (13 from WCTO) and staff distributed over 900 turkeys.
